On February 25,2017,“10+3” International Seminar on Production Capacity Cooperation, jointly hosted by National Institute of International Strategy at Chinese Academy of Social Science and the Management Committee of the Qianhai Shekou Free Trade Zone in Shenzhen and co-organized by Maritime Silk Road Institute of HuaQiao University and China-ASEAN Research Institute of Guangxi University, was held in Shenzhen Qianhai. Experts and scholars in different fields from “10+3” countries as well as representatives from different departments in Shenzhen, a total of 200 people attended this seminar.
The theme of the seminar was “Promoting Production Capacity Cooperation, Achieving Common Development”. The participants had deep discussion of four topics: The Belt and Road Initiative and International Production Capacity Cooperation, Economic Development and Production Capacity Cooperation, the Construction of Industrial Park and the Corporations’ Practice in the Production Capacity Cooperation.

Zhang Jiang (Vice President of Chinese Academy of Social Science); Pei Riguang (Vice President of Vietnamese Academy of Social Science); member of Communist Party of Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government and Du Peng (Former Director of the Qianhai administration) attended the seminar and delivered speeches. Dr. Pochin, president of the Association of Thailand-China Cultural and Economic Association, was invited to deliver a keynote speech entitled "The Belt and Road Initiative and Economic and Industrial Cooperation". Professor Xu Peiyuan, Executive Vice President of MSRI of HQU, attended this seminar.
